Where We Came From
It was a humid summer night at a midtown establishment in the summer of 2000. There were a couple of pitchers involved, one thing led to another, and the idea for Orajen was conceived.
We had been discussing what Web development should be and how different our vision was from what every other company around was offering. Too many sites were unnecessarily complex, poorly designed, hard to navigate, or simply didn't work. The dot-com bubble was bursting and we knew there were dark days ahead, but we knew if we started small, kept our focus, and provided great service, we'd have a bright future.
The plan worked, and we became one of the leading Web design & development companies in Omaha and the surrounding region. We focused on creating web sites that look great and work great. We've maintained that focus, and after more than seven years of business, we're glad we did.
Where We Are Today
Over the years, our projects have grown in size and scope. We’ve received requests that challenge and stretch the limits of our core capabilities. We've even had to turn down opportunities in order to stay true to our mission of focusing on producing great websites. Well, on July 1st, 2008 we changed all that.
Orajen is now a Bozell company. Bozell is Omaha's largest creative communications / advertising agencies and a leader in the field. Now when our clients need services beyond their websites, we have the ability to deliver the same outstanding quality across the board.
Where We're Going
Unlike a lot of other Web companies in the area, we're here for the long haul. We are going to continue designing and programming great web sites. We keep up on the latest technology and how that applies to designing sites that work for both the owner and the visitor.
